What in the Slam Ham Are We Doing?
Okay, y’all... I wasn’t going to talk about it. I really wasn’t. I tried to sit on my hands and stay quiet, I tried to just scroll past the headlines, but my phone has been blowing up. My heart is heavy for the game I love, and as a mama who has seen this business from the inside out, I can't stay silent.
We HAVE to talk about it.
What in the world are we doing? Is there no respect left in college football? No integrity? No "man of your word"? We’ve entered an era where the ink on a contract is barely dry before someone is trying to blow it off the page with a leaf blower.
We need to talk about the "T" word that everyone is whispering but nobody is fixing: Tampering.

The Scenario (Yes, This Really Happened)
I know y’all have heard the rumors floating around social media, but let’s look at the actual anatomy of this situation. We’ve got a linebacker—a talented young man with a bright future. His father leaves the staff at Ole Miss, and together, they head to Clemson University for a visit.
Everything goes great. The kid loves the culture, he loves the "Death Valley" atmosphere, he connects with the staff, and he signs. He doesn’t just tweet a fancy commitment graphic with the "100" emoji, y’all. He commits his life to that program.
He goes to class. He’s sitting in those desks, earning those credits.
He starts training. He’s in the weight room at 5:00 AM with his new brothers.
He buys a vehicle. He’s settling into the community.
He moves into an apartment. He hung his clothes in the closet and put pictures on the wall.
He is a Clemson Tiger. Period. End of story, right? Wrong.
